iPad 3 Purchase

We purchased our iPad 3 on Sunday. I am so excited and so grateful to be able to have this technology to use with my boys. I’ve been spending the last 2 days exploring and downloading apps to use with them.

We test drove the iPad yesterday with both boys and they responded very well. John will sit in the chair and not wiggle around or fight to work. He is totally engaged in the activities that we do on it.

I wasn’t sure about Dustin, how he would respond. I picked a Math app to try on him, and he actually let me sit next to him and he watched as I showed him how to do it. After doing 3 problems myself he asked for the iPad and did more math problems on his own. Today we are going to explore social skills apps with him.

I can’t thank enough the generous people who helped make this dream a reality for our family. My gratitude is beyond words.
